The UVic Department of Civil Engineering is seeking letters of interest from professional engineers for a volunteer opportunity with the CIVE Advisory Council starting in June 2025 for a two-year term, joining a distinguished membership of building science, dam safety, construction and sustainability professionals. The ideal candidate is a Vancouver Island based professional that works in domains related to undergraduate civil engineering education. This could include consulting engineering, governments, construction, transportation, infrastructure, buildings, and heavy industries, among others.
