Effective Communication & Workplace Personality Types

Come join the Central Interior Branch for an interactive Lunch & Learn hosted by Kyum Shogren, P.Eng., exploring how understanding DISC personality styles can elevate communication, collaboration, and decision‑making in the workplace.

May 14 @ 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm

Clear communication is critical in technical and professional environments… But people don’t all communicate, make decisions, or respond the same way. In this interactive webinar, Kyum Shogren, P.Eng., explores what effective communication really means and how understanding workplace personality types can significantly improve collaboration, persuasion, and decision-making.

Using the DISC personality framework, participants will learn to recognize different communication styles, reflect on their own tendencies, and gain practical strategies for adapting messages to diverse audiences. Through real-world examples, reflection and group participation, this session highlights how tailoring communication can reduce conflict, increase clarity, and lead to better outcomes in both professional and personal settings.

This webinar is ideal for professionals looking to strengthen teamwork, improve stakeholder engagement, and communicate more effectively across different personality types.
