Infrastructure Asset Management and Climate Resiliency Planning

Join the Tri‑City Branch and Dr. Mahmoud Mahmoud for a technical seminar on applying a practical, risk‑based framework to integrate climate resiliency into infrastructure asset management, moving from qualitative awareness to actionable planning through risk screening, prioritization, and real‑world case examples.

June 2 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Summary

This presentation will explore a practical framework for integrating climate resiliency into infrastructure asset management. We will discuss how owners and practitioners can move from qualitative climate “awareness” to defensible, actionable planning by linking asset criticality, climate hazards, consequence of failure, and lifecycle interventions. The session will cover risk screening and prioritization methods, data needs and common pitfalls, and how to translate risk findings into capital planning, monitoring, and maintenance programs. A short case-based discussion will illustrate how these concepts can be applied to real-world municipal and industrial infrastructure portfolios.
