Richmond/Delta Branch Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Contest
Join the Richmond/Delta Branch of BC Society of Engineering and Geoscience for their annual bridge building competition. The goal of this event is to promote the awareness of the engineering and geoscience industry through a fun learning environment.
Register to Participate - Registration deadline: April 19, 2025.
Participants are required to register with BCSEG in advance and bring their pre-constructed bridges to the venue. Please complete the registration form below and email it to egbc.richmond@gmail.com. Type your name(s) (no handwriting please) using the spelling that you want to appear on certificate for entries.

This year's event will be in person at Brighouse library and will feature a bridge showcase, live testing, and science tutorials.
Pre-registration is required if you or your team are building and testing a bridge, but everyone is welcome to drop-in to watch the fun!
Registered participants can pick up their building supplies kit (popsicle sticks and glue) at any Richmond Public Library location.
On April 26, bring your pre-constructed bridges to the venue.
