Women in Engineering Workshop for High School Students

Join the South Central branch for a Women in Engineering Workshop geared towards females and non-binary students in grades 8-12.

February 6 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us for an engaging Women in Engineering workshop designed for high school students on Friday, Feb. 6th, (a district-wide PD day for students). The afternoon begins with an inspiring career talk from Professional Engineer followed by insights from current Software Engineering students. Students will then dive into a hands-on Escape Room-style problem-solving activity, working in teams to tackle engineering challenges. We’ll wrap up with prizes for the top Escape Room teams. This workshop is a fun, supportive way to explore engineering pathways and meet mentors in the field!
