Duties
Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada are seeking to hire a Senior Engineer to join Yukon’s Northern Contaminated Sites multidisciplinary team of professionals involved in overseeing the remediation of abandoned mine sites in Yukon.
This position is anticipated to work extensively on the following projects: Ketza River Mine, Arctic Gold and Silver Mill and Tailings, Venus Mill and Tailings.
The Senior engineer will also from time to time assist with other contaminated sites projects in the portfolio.

Intent of the process
📢 Immediate opening: 1 full-time indeterminate position in Whitehorse, YT.
This process also serves to create a list of qualified candidates for future opportunities (Deployment, Assignment, Secondment, Acting, Term or Indeterminate) at Crown-lndigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada, within the Yukon, with varying security requirements (reliability or secret).

📌 Salary, Allowances, and Benefits:
In addition to the salary:
• Isolated Post Allowance (depending on location and number of dependants).
• Vacation Travel Allowance twice a year for yourself and each eligible dependant.
