Frontera Geotechnical Inc. is a full-service geotechnical consulting firm based out of Squamish, BC. We are an experienced team of geotechnical engineers, geologists, and technicians who work together in a collaborative environment.
Frontera’s diverse client portfolio includes public institutions, developers, First Nations, contractors, and other engineering firms. Our projects are mainly located within the Lower Mainland, the Sea to Sky region and on the Sunshine Coast.
We are seeking a well-rounded recent engineering graduate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and technical skills, and an interest in geotechnical work.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate can expect to:
· Support professional engineers with site inspections.
· Perform engineering design with engineering software.
· Help with job cost estimating and construction specifications.
· Collect and analyze field data using observation, sampling, and testing.
Qualifications and Attributes
Our ideal candidate will have:
· An undergraduate degree in civil or geological engineering,
· A valid Driver’s License,
· Great communication skills and a can-do attitude, and
· Be able to handle field work and travel to remote sites.
