2024 has been quite a busy year for us so far! We are excited to share some noteworthy updates with you.
Firstly, we are thrilled to announce the incorporation of this new advocacy body in the coming month. This marks a significant achievement, as it officially establishes us as a recognized legal organization.
To further strengthen our presence, we have enlisted the expertise of marketing, communications, and information technology consultants. They will be working with us to build our brand and enhance our online presence. Their skills will be pivotal in shaping our identity and reaching a wider audience.
In addition we have formed a Programs working group, consisting of dedicated volunteer board members. Their primary focus is to review the programs that EGBC will no longer offer to registrants. We are particularly honing in on the Branches program and have started conversations with the Branches. Simultaneously, other programs are undergoing assessments to ensure they provide valuable opportunities and recognition within the engineering and geoscience community in BC.
