2024 continues to be a busy year for us!
We are proud to announce that moving forward the advocacy body will be known as the BC Society of Engineering and Geoscience.
We have launched our interim website at https://www.bcseg.ca/. We will continue to post updates and announcements on this new site in parallel to EGBC continuing to provide linked updates for the time being.
Incorporation activities are continuing to take shape, including the creation of our constitution, bylaws, and membership types. This work is on-going and we will provide an update as soon as this information is available to share.
We continue to work closely with our marketing, communications, and information technology consultants to drive those aspects of the new society. We have been hard at work planning an engagement survey that will be available in the coming few weeks. Your perspective will be invaluable as we strive to shape our society to meet the needs of our future members.
The Programs working group has been hard at work developing plans, timelines, and a vision for the programs we will begin to offer to members. We continue to review and understand the programs that EGBC will no longer offer.
