Terms and Conditions

1. Event Cancellation

BCSEG reserves the right to cancel an event prior to the start date. If the event is cancelled, BCSEG will issue a full refund. BCSEG is not responsible for any associated cancellation/change fees that may result from an events cancellation.

2. Event Refunds

If you wish to request a refund for an event, you must do so through the event listing on the website or send an email to events@bcseg.ca. The email must include the Event name, your name, the date of the event, and email address that was used to register for the event. Refunds will only be considered for refunds for paid events if the request is made five (5) business days prior to the start of the event. No refund will be provided closer than give (5) business days prior to the event start date.

3. Membership Refunds

Thank you for joining BCSEG to work at advancing the engineering and geoscience professions within BC. If you are not satisfied with your membership, if requested, BCSEG will offer a full refund (minus a $25 administrative fee) within 10 days of your date of payment to BCSEG. Refund requests will not be accepted after this 10-day period.

Cancellation of your membership may affect your ability to utilize membership benefits, including access to Affinity Program offerings. If you access any member benefits or made any member discounted purchases within the aforementioned 10-day period, you immediately waive your right to a membership refund.

All refund requests must be made in writing via email to membership@bcseg.ca. It must include Member name, nature of the request, the date, and email address that was used with the membership was purchased.

BCSEG reserves the right to cancel a membership, in which case no refund will be provided. If you were ineligible for the membership category that you signed up for, BCSEG retains the right to cancel your membership immediately and no refund will be issued.
